  This book is a gem for the art of negotiation from the perspective of a former FBI hostage negotiator. The author does an excellent job of drawing the reader in with exciting anecdotes during his time as a hostage negotiator, then breaking down the psychology and methods used in those situations and explaining how the reader can use the same formulas in day-to-day business and personal life transactions.
